DEAL WITH IT !
Often, when we have inner conflict and worries, we tend to ignore it, cover it up and hope it will go away by itself. Sometimes it does, but more often than not, it GROWS. It changes our behaviour, takes over parts of our lives and can turn us into defensive, negative people.
Why do we let that happen?
Perhaps the fear of facing your ‘dark side’, the fear of open confrontation, discomfort and unpleasantness is greater than the actual ‘thing’ itself. In fact, long standing conflict or anxiety can start feeling more comfortable than the thought of doing something about it. Yet, allowing it to remain, means to allow it to fester and grow and take over our lives. In the end we become trapped and cannot find a way out of that situation. It can make us physically and mentally ill. We even become ‘different’ people as this knot of conflict lies unresolved within us.
So what does it take to move on? - It takes courage and the desire to change. Courage to dig deep and face your innermost self, courage to be open to change and change yourself, courage and trust that you will be able to deal with whatever this searching turns up.
Next time you feel something negative niggling away inside – deal with it! The longer you leave it, the harder it will get to do something about it – until it becomes part of you and it gets more and more difficult to distinguish between the real you and the ‘diminished’ you.
You don’t even have to go it alone. I have tried counselling with great long-term results and EFT for instant emotional relief.
Free yourself, become the person you want to be when you DEAL WITH IT!
