I believe there are no mistakes in life, only actions and consequences.
A mistake is like when you use the wrong formula in maths and the result is not as calculated many times before.
There are very few formulae for life. Any ‘formula’ varies with the person who applies it.
If one person falls off the roundabout it does not mean that all other riders will fall off as well.
This is what makes life exciting, interesting and challenging, but it can also make you unsure, resentful and angry.
On one hand there is enormous freedom to do what you feel is right, on the other hand there always is the uncertainty of the outcome. However, most of the time you can have a pretty good guess at what will work out right, and if it doesn’t, don’t beat yourself up with guilt and regret at having made a mistake. How could you have made a mistake? Nobody gave you a formula that predicted the exact outcome – you just had a guess.
So, learn from the results you get and move on.
Sometimes people count up and remember all the undesirable outcomes of their actions and thereby close their minds and get stuck in negativity.
How liberating does it feel to you to know that there are no mistakes?
