LIFE’S STRUGGLE – LIFE’S DANCE
Does life sometimes feel like a continuous drain to you? Do daily demands sap your energy and make you feel tired and weak?
At times I felt as if I was ‘dragging my feet’, didn’t want to move around, didn’t want to get up in the mornings, didn’t want to go to bed at night. Worries, ‘shoulds’ and ‘have-tos’ took over my routine, and life seemed a daily struggle to keep going.
So, what can we do to get out of this place? Energy depleted, mind turned negative, too tired for action – where do you start?
Well, there are a number of things that can help, and even picking out only one of them and applying it consistently will make a positive change (see list at end), but the single most important thought to have in your mind is:’I WANT to get better’.
When you are open to change and start taking charge of your life, it will feel like little miracles happening every day for you. The weight will lift, your energy will return and you will be able to cope again.
BUT being responsible for your thoughts and actions does take a bit of courage. However, it is always within your power to make personal changes, it is always just a thought away. So, take a deep breath, KNOW that things will get better again (they always do), cease to struggle and dance with life – what better time to start than Spring!
The following points are just some suggestions that might help you get going, but the list is by no means complete. You may have your own ideas, and if you do, please let me know so that we can all benefit from each others knowledge, wisdom and experience.

- Take a good vitamin and mineral supplement – the chemical processes in your body also influence your mind
- WRITE – start journalling regularly. Once you have put your thoughts and feelings on paper, you can let go of them, don’t have to carry them around with you anymore.
- DREAM – imagine your life how you would like it to be. Visualise all the details so you can start attracting what you want (Law of Attraction).
- EXERCISE – it produces serotonin, the feel-good hormone.
- PAMPER yourself – splash out on a day in a spa or go on a retreat, have an aromatherapy massage etc. Know that your body and mind need TLC at the moment rather than more demands.
- HOBBY – immerse yourself in a hobby or an activity you really enjoy, give your mind a break
- EFT – find out about it and start tapping on it. It will release some of those negative feelings clogging up your mind.
